Who says gluten free can't also be delicious? We are doing another homage to traditional European cakes. This time we are going Hungarian with the classic Esterházy Torte, or Coffee Hazelnut Torte. It is made with layers of hazelnut dacquoise cake, toasted hazelnut, praline ganache, espresso buttercream with caramelized hazelnut, and toasted almond on the side. Finished with an old school decorative look. The coffee balances the sweetness of the cake, while elevating the nuttiness.
